Poll

If there was increased law enforcement, fines and punishment for illegal prostitution would that solve the problem?

THE PROBLEM: Illegal prostitution is an enormous criminal enterprise generating millions of dollars in revenue that go untaxed while taxpaying citizens pick up the tab to clean up problems that occur. It flourishes because elected officials are scared to even address the issue and violate their oath and responsibility for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the community.

THE SOLUTION:
The public needs to be aware of the problems of illegal prostitution and associated crimes and demand that the politicians address the issues and look for solutions. Let your voice be heard! There has to be a better answer than what we have now... this is unacceptable!!

IT IS IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER:

  • Before one can solve a problem, one must recognize and identify the problem.
  • Full knowledge of the facts of a problem is the first step toward finding a solution.
  • There is always an answer to every problem.  One may not like the answer, but there is a best answer out of those available.
  • Refusal to recognize or ignore a problem only serves to keep it out of mind or view.  The problem will nevertheless continue to exist and will be exploited by parties who will take advantage of this denial.
  • If one is not part of the solution to a problem, they are part of the problem.
  • The criminal enterprise of illegal prostitution thrives in Las Vegas because the community and government allow it to do so.  It is disdainful that the current situation is the “answer” allowed by Las Vegas.
